Delray Beach, Florida — Sean DeMartino was deeply admired for the remarkable courage, strength, and grace he demonstrated throughout his battle with cancer. Those who knew him best describe him as a true fighter — a man who faced every challenge with resilience, hope, and an unwavering positive spirit that inspired countless people around him. Even during the most difficult moments, Sean carried himself with dignity, compassion, and determination, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Today, the world lost an extraordinary man. Robert Sean DeMartino was more than a friend — he was a brother in every sense of the word. Our friendship began during our days at Perry Middle School and continued throughout the years, growing stronger through life’s many chapters. I was blessed to speak with him three times this week, moments I will now hold close to my heart forever.
Sean had a rare ability to make people feel valued, supported, and understood. His loyalty, kindness, humor, and strength touched the lives of so many. He fought his illness with incredible bravery and never allowed his circumstances to define the man he was. Instead, he became a source of inspiration to family, friends, and everyone who witnessed his journey.
My heart is shattered by this loss, and my deepest prayers and condolences go out to Jacklyn, his children, and the entire DeMartino family during this painful time. May they find comfort in the countless memories, love, and legacy Sean leaves behind.
